[DIGITAL Business Africa] – Djibril Ouattara made a stop in Grand-Bassam. The Minister of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation visited the Village des technologies de l'information et de la biotechnologie on 12 February 2026.

The datacenter of ST Digital opened its doors to the Minister of Digital Affairs, who began a series of working visits to the structures under his department this Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
The ST Digital datacenter was inaugurated on October 2, 2025. The infrastructure offers clients an AI and a 100% African Cloud. According to its promoters, this datacenter is eco-responsible, built in part with local materials and in harmony with the environment. It includes a concentration of equipment for managing data.
This digital gem is built on an area of 4,000 m², with a redundant electrical circuit and network (availability: 99.98%). This also makes it possible to host high-value-added, high-volume data, guaranteeing the availability of resources.
Steve Tchouaga, Managing Director of the Ivorian subsidiary, stated at its inauguration that the infrastructure is adapted to African realities.
"This is not simply about importing technology, but about designing infrastructure adapted to the realities of our markets, with our own human resources and our own standards," he explained.
Before travelling to Grand-Bassam, the Minister of Digital Transition and Technological Innovation, Djibril Ouattara, successively visited the Société nationale de Développement informatique (SNDI), the Agence nationale du service universel des télécommunications/TIC (ANSUT), and the Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information (ANSSI).
At SNDI, in perfect synergy with the Director General, the Minister commended the work accomplished by the teams and encouraged better coordination with the other structures of the ministry, in order to optimise interventions and increase the effectiveness of the State's digital actions.
At ANSUT, he commended the teams for the efforts deployed in favour of reducing the digital divide, while urging them to maintain sustained focus on their strategic missions, in the service of the population.
At ANSSI, the Minister expressed his particular satisfaction with the measures put in place and the efforts made to guarantee the security of national information systems.
