The Togolese digital services company, Solution de la Transformation Digitale (ST Digital), organised a seminar on corporate compliance on Tuesday in Lomé.
The meeting brought together stakeholders involved in business management. The proceedings, led by Justine Yededji, General Manager for ST Digital West Africa, helped strengthen companies in their approach to adopting compliance.
"We felt that businesses in Africa need to be supported on their digitalisation journey. It is in this context that we engaged today with the participants of this seminar. The digitalisation approach respects a number of criteria and encompasses several innovations. This is why it is important to support them in meeting these requirements," declared Justine Yededji.
Information compliance and governance
The seminar focused on the theme: "Compliance and information governance: what vision for your organisation?".
Experts moderated the panel by addressing three themes around the subject of corporate compliance: "Quality 4.0 and the impact of quality on corporate governance", "The innovative solution for information governance compliance management", and "Technological innovations: integration of information systems and the challenge of digital transformation for compliance".

The occasion provided an opportunity to exchange views on the quality approach, an important step in the adoption of compliance, as well as on the tools and processes required to achieve it.
"A company's competitiveness refers to its ability to face competitors in the market. It is therefore important to satisfy and retain clients, which relies on the quality of the service or product. Quality today, beyond its simple definition of meeting requirements, means fostering a culture of quality. It becomes a culture and is reflected in behaviours and processes that deliver value in the eyes of clients. Staff are the first clients (...)," explained Yao Noé Hunkpati, Quality Health Safety Environment expert.
ST DIGITAL at the disposal of businesses
The presentations established a link between the quality approach, Microsoft's compliance tool, and the process of implementing that approach.
The ST Digital team reiterated its commitment to being available to companies in Togo and across Africa to support them. ST Digital occupies a privileged position thanks to its innovations. The company plans to launch shortly its own 100% African Cloud.
This tool will make it possible to manage and secure data via the government's data center, with the objective of reducing costs for Togolese businesses.
Founded in April 2017, ST Digital is now present in seven countries across Africa (Cameroun, Gabon, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Bénin, RDC and Togo). The company offers services in Digital Transformation Consulting, Business Solutions, Infrastructure and Cloud, Collaborative Work, Cybersecurity and Training.
