ST DIGITAL strengthens its presence in digital intelligence on the Cameroonian market. The company has indeed launched its new offering, the CloudStore.africa platform, presented as a 100% pan-African solution that provides its users across Africa with data storage, processing and analysis services tailored to their needs, autonomy in managing their data, now subject to local digital sector legislation in various countries across the African region.

Designed for public and private sector companies, individuals, and international or non-governmental organisations, the CloudStore.africa platform offers four types of digital services backed by high-performance servers located in Cameroun and housed in a "Tier 3 data centre", equipped and secured to international standards: website hosting, acquisition of customisable 100% African email accounts (.cm for Cameroun, .ga for Gabon…), domain name acquisition, and virtual server provisioning.

"These are technical, digital services, but above all they are essential services for data sovereignty and digital sovereignty. With these services, it will finally be possible to store our data in Cameroun according to international standards of quality, security and performance", states Anthony Same, Chief Executive Officer of ST Digital. According to the designers of this solution, the advantage of CloudStore.africa is the ability to own a domain name with the local extension of one's country, quickly, securely and reliably. "In Cameroun for example, having a domain name with the"extension.cm is instant from the website. The same applies to acquiring an email address with the aforementioned extension", it is reported.

Regarding the hosting of a website from ST DIGITAL's servers, Anthony SAME guarantees digital sovereignty: "all Cameroonians will be able to access their website, hosted in Cameroon, directly from the local network of national operators. This means that one can access the internet using resources based in Cameroon. To have servers, many companies are forced to physically purchase a server; with this service, they will be able to connect to our website and directly access their server. We will create virtual servers for them. From there, they can deploy their applications, store their data, and do whatever they want with that server", adds the CEO of ST DIGITAL.

Notably, the new version of the Personal Data Management Regulation (PDMR). It is worth noting that ST DIGITAL is an African-owned company offering digital transformation consulting services, integration services, training, application development, and cybersecurity. It operates in 7 countries including Cameroun, Gabon, Congo, RDC, Côte d'Ivoire, Togo, and Bénin. With approximately 100 employees, it maintains an IT infrastructure comprising its own data center, in addition to the data centers of its partners.
