The company has just developed a virtual employee fulfilling a senior role within the organisation. Named Isaac AHMED, this character is created by artificial intelligence. He is capable of performing multiple tasks and even answering questions. "It is an extremely powerful tool for connectivity, efficiency, and mass data processing. And it is directly accessible to deliver a different level of efficiency in data handling," emphasises Anthony Same, CEO of ST Digital.
Innovative creations such as those of Isaac Ahmed demonstrate how artificial intelligence can support African businesses in achieving their objectives. Notably, it allows companies to have unpaid employees capable of executing tasks at any hour. However, a major challenge remains the place of human resources. Some see it as the elimination of certain positions in favour of AI, which would increase unemployment and poverty rates.
