In the article of 03 November published by our partner Veeam, Jason Buffington and David Russel present a report on cloud security trends for 2023. It stems from the project Cloud Protection Trends Report for 2023 which analyses the production and protection mechanisms offered "as a service", namely:
• IaaS - Infrastructure as a Service
• PaaS - Platform as a Service, including file sharing and databases
• SaaS - Software as a Service, focused on Microsoft
• BaaS & DRaaS – Backup as a Service and Disaster Recovery as a Service
It conducts surveys among suppliers "as a service", on motivations, challenges, strategies, as well as the roles and methods of data protection, but also what customers expect from a BaaS/DRaaS provider.
