Microsoft has introduced a set of new features in Windows 365. We offer you a summary of the changes and functionalities that Microsoft has been able to introduce during the month.


General

General Availability of  Windows 365 Boot modes Shared and Dedicated 

User Experience

  • General Availability of user management of local computer settings via their Windows 365 Boot computer.
  • General Availability of the detection and notification of network or application configuration issues by Windows 365 Boot.
  • General Availability of Windows 365 Boot support for sign-in page customization.
  • General Availability of display information enabling differentiation of Windows tasks for the Cloud PC or local PC in Windows 365 Switch.
  • General Availability of the ability for users to seamlessly disconnect from their Cloud PC without leaving their local desktop with Windows 365 Switch.
  • General Availability of connection status information and timeout on the login screen for Windows 365 Switch with Windows 365 Frontline Cloud PCs.

Device Security

  • Preview of a new 15-minute sign-in frequency option. This relies on conditional access rules, specifically the option: Conditional access > Session > Sign-in frequency > Every time.
