Microsoft Teams introduces an innovative feature that simplifies room booking processes.
This new feature allows users to easily secure meeting spaces, whether for immediate use, future occasions, or as part of pre-scheduled meetings.
The process involves scanning a QR code displayed on the reservation panel using a mobile device equipped with the Teams application on Android or iOS platforms.
Users can now easily book a room for meetings — whether immediately, in advance, or as part of a scheduled meeting — by scanning a QR code on the booking panel with their mobile device.
The Teams mobile application must be installed on an Android or iOS device.
The recommended version of Teams on your Android phone is 1416/1.0.0.2023153001 and later versions. On iOS, this is version 5.15.0 and later versions.
This new capability is available from the Microsoft Teams Panels version 1449/1.0.97.2023080401:
